A clinical study was performed on 65 patients with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia who were
admitted to the Department of Pediatrics of Seoul Paik hospital from September 1,1989 to August 31,
1990.
The results were as follows;
1) Seasonal distribution showed a high frequency in summer (33 cases; 50.8%).
2) The peak incidence was 5 to 9 years of age (32cases;49.2%).
3) Male to female ratio was 1:1.17(30:35).
